COVID-19 Procedures

For the safety of residents and staff, we strongly encourage the use of remote services when able. Most business can be conducted online, through the mail or utilizing the Drop Box located up the front steps of Town Hall to your left.

Land Records

Recordings may be mailed, filed electronically, or put in Drop Box located up front steps of Town Hall to your left or in person 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m..  The online database contains images from August 1, 1981 to present.  To search records prior to 1981, please call the office for an appointment. Funeral Directors

Assisting funeral directors by appointment or walk-in. It is best to call the office ahead of your arrival. Subregistrars 


Marriage Licenses

Marriage licenses are processed by appointment only.  Bridal couples are asked to email the office with wedding date and officiator information after completing the online marriage license application to make an appointment.  We accept cash or check only. Click link: Marriage License Application


Certified Copies of Vital Records

Requests for certified copies of vital records can be done by mail or in person by appointment. Please complete the Vital Request form, mail form with check and self-addressed stamped envelope to the office or place in the Drop Box located up the front steps of Town Hall to your left. If coming in person, please bring the form with you. We accept cash or check only.   Click Link


Notary Public

You may file your notary public commission in person – the fee is $20.00.



If you need a document notarized, you must call for an appointment.  If your document needs witnesses, you must bring the 2 witnesses.
