For the safety of residents and staff, the Town Clerk’s Office remains open by appointment only. Most business can be conducted online, through the mail or utilizing the Drop Box located up the front steps of Town Hall to your left.

Land Records

Recordings must be mailed, filed electronically, or put in Drop Box located up front steps of Town Hall to your left.  The online database contains images from August 1, 1981 to present.  For copies of land records or maps not online, please contact the office with volume & page numbers or map information.  We are happy to mail or email copies to you and you can mail a check to the office.  To search records not online, please call the office for an appointment.  To access online land records, click link: Land Records


Funeral Directors

Assisting funeral directors by appointment only, please call the office ahead of your arrival. Subregistrars 


Marriage Licenses

Marriage licenses are processed by appointment only.  Bridal couples are asked to email the office with wedding date and officiator information after completing the online marriage license application to make an appointment.  We accept cash or check only. Click link: Marriage License Application


Certified Copies of Vital Records

Requests for certified copies of vital records can be done by mail or in person by appointment. Please complete the Vital Request form, mail form with check and self-addressed stamped envelope to the office or place in the Drop Box located up the front steps of Town Hall to your left. If coming in person, please bring the form with you. We accept cash or check only.   Click Link
