The Community Dining Room serves the South-Central Connecticut Shoreline from East Haven to Old Saybrook, including the towns of Branford, North Branford, Guilford, East Haven, and Madison. The Community Dining Room services:

BREAKFAST: Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

LUNCH: Sunday-Friday 12:00 noon - 1:00p.m.

                2nd and 4th Saturday 12:0000 noon – 1:00 p.m.

TUESDAY FAMILY DINNER AND STORYTIME (for families with children) at 5:30 p.m.

Assists pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants (up to 1stbirthday) and children (up to the child’s 5th birthday), who are at a nutritional risk and meet income guidelines. Branford office hours are available.

1. MEALS ON WHEELS: Delivers a hot meal 5 days a week, M-F, to older homebound adults ages 60+; Meals can be prepared according to doctor's recommendation. No holiday deliveries. 

2. FAMILY FARE: Offers the delivery of fresh prepared meals on a fee for service basis and can also accommodate needed therapeutic diets. This service is full fee and there are no restrictions.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

Sites cannot accept a referral from an individual who is under the age 60 and disabled; They need a referral from a DSS worker to obtain Meals on Wheels unless they are willing to pay privately.

Adults who are 60+ and homebound.
